For ease of reference, this one-page chart includes some general policies with which all Club members and guests should comply.  This is by no means a complete list of all Club standards; each member should review the information in the Club’s website regarding Club resources, activities, and policies.

  1. Speed Limit:  The speed limit of 15 MPH on North and South Trail should not be exceeded.
  2. Club Shared Resources:  Use of the Club’s shared resources (the Clubhouse, boathouses, shed, dock, beach area, tennis court, etc.) should be respectful; any resource should be left as you would like to find it.
  3. Noise:  The tranquility of our shared outside environment should be maintained (e.g., no loud music on the water, outside a home, or anywhere on Club property).
  4. “No Wake Zone”:  All of Noyes Pond is a “no wake” zone (and combustion motors are prohibited).
  5. Clubhouse Access:  Obtain access code for the door (which should always be locked) from member host or Clubhouse Manager (Amanda Francis).
  6. Clubhouse Hours:  Clubhouse living room is available to members and their guests until 11 PM daily. Appropriate consideration for resident Clubhouse guests should be observed when using entertainment facilities.
  7. Clubhouse Meals and Rooms:  Meals must be reserved by noon Wednesdays via the website.  Check-in for guest rooms is at 4 PM; check-out is 11 AM.
  8. Trash:
    • Trash pickup by Outside Manager can be scheduled (at a cost) by leaseholders, with garbage stored outside in plastic bags and animal-proof bins.
    • Household trash can be disposed of in dumpsters at the Clubhouse.
    • Only brush and logs can be disposed of at brush dump (take stumps and large stones to the Gravel Pit).
    • A large dumpster at the Clubhouse is available in May and September for member use.
  9. Hunting and Shooting:
    • All Tunxis property is a hunting preserve, including stocked pheasant fields.  Hunting seasons are from September through March (see dates on website); orange should be worn when appropriate.
    • Hunting field use should be reserved through the website.
    • Guest hunting and guest use of any shooting facility requires a member to be present.
  10. For Leaseholders Only:
    • LIRC:  Leaseholder must review LIRC Guidelines (on Website) before starting ANY project (including outside lighting, solar panels, etc.) and obtain approvals (LIRC, town, state) as required.
    • Compliance with Town and State Ordinances is required by Leaseholder and contractor.
    • Contractor Licensing and Insurance Requirements (workers’ comp, liability) must be confirmed by Leaseholder prior to work commencing.
    • Outside Manager (Jeff Francis) should be informed by Leaseholder of contractors involved in any project.
    • Construction Debris must be removed by contractor (cannot be left at brush disposal area or Club dumpsters).
  11. Emergency:  Dial 911 for fire, medical or police services.  For other problems contact Outside Manager (Jeff Francis) at 413-259-4750.
