The Mission of the Tunxis Club is to nurture a culture, will and capacity among its members to commit, first and foremost, to being a privately directed conservation organization.  The Tunxis Club will sustain stewardship of these exceptional resources in ways that enhance members’ interaction with nature and that preserve the integrity of its environment in the midst of increasing developmental pressures in the region.  By devoting our efforts and resources to the preservation and enhancement of our significant natural environment, we ensure the foundation of all the recreational, social and residential amenities enjoyed by our membership.
